Politics is a Team Sport
Political campaigns are a team sport, which require multiple specialists working together in a coordinated manner to implement the campaign’s strategy and game plan. A typical Congressional campaign will have specialists for television and radio ads, direct mail, digital advertising, polling, voter lists, research, media relations, budget, and fundraising (individual donors and PAC), along with on-the-ground staff that perform grassroots activities, schedule the candidate and implement additional elements of the campaign. The complexity increases or decreases depending on the office sought and budget.
A general consultant is familiar with all of these elements of the campaign and works with the team to ensure the whole campaign is moving forward, in the same direction, to implement the strategy, game plan, and adjust as the battle intensifies. Organizationally, the general consultant functions as a primary care physician or head football coach, as both understand each component and guide the big picture, but work with specialists who have mastered their craft.
Joe Wicks is a general political consultant with a proven track record who is able to work with your team, or help you fill out your team with top-notch talent. He has been privileged to work with the highest level political specialists from Michigan and around the nation.
